Dear Host Family
My name is Sofia, 24 years old from Indonesia. A little bit about me, I am an organized and lovely to follow the rules people so I can help with little bit household, I am warm and lovely people especially with child, very responsible, cheerful, and easily adaptable.
I like spending time with children, playing with them, and helping them learn new things. I also enjoy spending time with my seven-year-old niece and my cousin nine-year-old. I also feeding them, making milk bottle when they are 3 years old, bathing, putting them sleep, teaching them to walk and talk, comforting them when they cried, and cut their hair sometimes. I have always been good and warm with kids, so I have been around children a lot.
I also hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Beauty Education to be more precise. Besides learning about the beauty like makeup, hairstyling, and nail art, I also learn a lot about education, especially how to teach properly and effectively. During my university studies, I participated in two programs that provided me with teaching skills for children : the KKN (Community Service Program) and the PPL (Teaching Practicum Program). In our community service program, my friends and I helped tutor the kids after school. Besides that, we also hung out and played with them a lot. Meanwhile, during the teaching practicum program, I gained hands-on experience as a teacher, instructing vocational high school students (SMK). In addition, I also have experience tutoring my landlady's child in letter recognition and reading. From that experience I can understanding what children’s need, accompanying them as they study, supporting & helping them with artistic task.
Little bit about my skill and hobies :
- I can cook and baking
- I love grocery shopping, so I can help you with grocery shopping for daily needs
- I can doing simple hair do, so I can styling your daughter hair before go to school
- I can doing makeup because I am makeup artist, so I can do your makeup sometimes you need it
- I’m a nail artist and I enjoy creative activities, especially simple art, craft, and anything that involves making something with my hand
- I am interested in sports, especially formula 1 ???
- I love outdoor activities like hiking, cycling, camping, snorkeling and discovering new places.
- I love listening podcasts or music while I do my housework
- I don’t smoke, vaping and drinking alcohol, to refresh my mind I love drinking coffee and matcha
- I can ride bike & and motorcycle

I speak English and I’m always willing to improve my communication skill
Through this au pair program, I hope find a wonderful family who will have me live with them for a few months, where I can both experience the country and still be part of a family. I am also looking forward to meeting a new fanily who will help me learn a new language and culture, and I would be very happy to share mine.
I’m flexible with the location, I am ready to start the visa application process immediately once find a good match and mutually agree to move forward
