My name is Ara, I’m 22 years old and from Malaysia ????. I can speak Malay, English and Chinese.
I’m currently completing my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and will be graduating in October 2026. I have experience taking care of children as the eldest of four siblings and I also completed my internship at a special needs intervention centre where I gained experience working with and supporting children with different needs.
I’m very fond of children and genuinely enjoy spending time with them. As a psychology student, I’m especially interested in understanding children’s behaviour and applying psychology knowledge to help them learn, develop and manage their behaviour in a positive way. ??
This would be my first time becoming an au pair, but I’m really excited about the opportunity to gain new experiences, become more independent and learn about a new culture while being part of a family. I’d also love to share my Malaysian culture and language with you and your children!
